Sam Faiers has said she still laughs about the reaction boyfriend Paul Knightley and his mother Gaynor got after *that* kiss on The Baby Diaries.

The ex-TOWIE star's reality show about her pregnancy with the couple's first child, son Paul, was aired in February, and caused many headlines thanks to a scene showing Paul kissing his mum on the lips.

The kiss that sparked so much debate...

Speaking in the new issue of Now magazine this week, the Essex star and sister Billie, 26, said they never expected that one moment to generate so much publicity - but Sam and Paul Snr. didn't let it bother them.

"We laugh at what people said about the kiss because they made it sound different to what it was," said Sam, adding she wasn't fussed about the reaction, especially as The Baby Diaries was the highest-rated show on ITVBe ever.

"We still laugh at it," added Billie.

When asked if she'd warned Paul not to kiss Gaynor in follow up documentary The Mummy Diaries, Sam replied: "Of course not! It's not hurting anyone. If you're happy, people will always want to rip you to pieces and that's it."

Sam's preparing to open her life up to the cameras once for more ITVBe's The Mummy Diaries, a multi-episode show that will document her first year with Baby Paul.

Speaking about the show, Sam has said: "I am excited to be doing my own six part series for ITVBe. The feedback from The Baby Diaries was so overwhelming and I am really looking forward to letting the viewers follow me in my day to day life with baby Paul during my first year of motherhood.

"I have so many exciting projects coming up this year, work wise and in my personal life and I can't wait to share them with everyone."

Sam gave birth to her and Paul's first child on 29 December last year. She first announced she was expecting back in August, nearly a year after she and property developer Paul started dating.
