Nobody was inside the boutique at the time and, thankfully, the store did not catch fire and no damage was reported. TMZ claims the object burned itself out on the floor.

CBS Local in Los Angeles says police and fire fighters were on the scene and an investigation is continuing.

No arrests have been made.

The Dash franchise was founded by Kim, Khloe and Kourtney in 2006 and features frequently in their E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Their first store was in Calabasas, California, before they moved it to Melrose Avenue. Other stores exist in Miami and New York, while a pop-up store took place in The Hamptons two years ago, as documented on E!

E! has aired a reality series abut the store called Dash Dolls, which introduced viewers to the staff at the LA store and what happens behind-the-scenes.
