Tom and Sophie have been coupled up since Love Island's launch night last week, and it's safe to say their romance has been blossoming ever since.
Sophie has said that she feels like she "can talk to Tom about anything," but he is keen to know if their close bond could result in the pair officially becoming boyfriend and girlfriend.
He is keen to work out where he stands with Sophie and taking the opportunity to ask her, Tom says during a conversation in the garden: "Just to be clear, you're not at the boyfriend/girlfriend stage are you?"
When Sophie shakes her head to say she isn't, Tom presses further, telling her: "You don't talk to me, you don't tell me what you feel."
Sophie, however, explains: "Expressing how I feel and compliments are probably like two of the hardest things for me to do when I'm in a relationship."
Although, she did add that she's not planning on straying away: "That's the way it's going. If someone came in here tomorrow, I'm not going to be remotely into them because I'm with you."
If Tom and Sophie do make things official soon, they won't be the first couple in the villa to become boyfriend and girlfriend.
Last night (6 June), fans saw Malin Andersson and Terry Walsh decide to give their relationship a go.
Malin revealed to the girls: "Do you know what he said to me last night. He proper dropped it in, he went, 'So, we're boyfriend and girlfriend aren't we?' He didn't even ask me he just said it."
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2.
