Model and former First Dates star Sam, 23, told the Daily Star Online that he hadn't spoken with Stephanie since she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in January, but wished her well with the baby.
"I've not spoken to Steph for most of the year – we have no contact at all. The last time I spoke to her was the day she walked into Big Brother," said Sam, who is now dating Taylor Ward.
"I do wish her all the best. She does have the right family behind her so she'll be fine."
Sam and Stephanie, 23, had been in a relationship when she entered the CBB house in January, but by the time she left in second place, they were no longer together.
Ex-Hollyoaks star Steph courted controversy on the show by striking up a close relationship with housemate Jeremy McConnell, which led to flirtations and kisses – despite being with Sam at the time.
He publicly withdrew his social media support for Steph while she was in the house, telling fans: "I will be talking to her when she leaves the Big Brother house. I would never end a relationship over text or social media. I want to talk to Steph face to face."
But it appears that never happened as Steph later told Loose Women they had communicated via text but that was it. She then began a relationship with Irish model Jeremy, which made headlines thanks to numerous splits and reconciliations.
They split in May for a fourth time, just before Stephanie announced she was pregnant.
But Jeremy has claimed in an interview with TVNow magazine in Ireland that the baby isn't his.
He said: "I'm not going to be a dad. If she is pregnant, it's not mine. If I was a dad, I'd be 100% no, 110%, the best dad in the world. But you'll see in the future that it's not my kid, and she'll look like a mug... Look, if she is pregnant it's not my kid. She had her period. We had been broken up."
Sources close to Stephanie have told Reveal that Jeremy's denial is "totally unfair."
"These accusations are causing great stress to Stephanie. Treating a pregnant woman like this is totally unfair, given all the changes she is going through," said an insider.
"For Jeremy to say he isn't the father is going to backfire on him totally," they added. "He should reign in what he is saying because he will have serious egg on his face when the baby is born.
"Women so early on in their pregnancies are very vulnerable, and to publicly attempt to shame Stephanie like this has taken what should be a happy time for her into misery."
A rep for Stephanie had no comment to make, but they have previously confirmed Stephanie is pregnant. Steph's rep told the Daily Star: "Our client is categorically pregnant. We do not need to continue repeating this."
