Charlotte Crosby is looking to the future following a difficult month that saw her hospitalised with an ectopic pregnancy and quitting Geordie Shore.

The 26-year-old tweeted it was "onwards and upwards" from here, after a dramatic week that started with her emotionally revealing her pregnancy in a magazine interview, before sensationally quitting Geordie Shore in a Twitter rant.

Last night, actress Linda Robson took to Twitter to send her well wishes to Charlotte, after meeting her during a taping of Up Late With Rylan.

Linda wrote: "Only met you this week but thought you were lovely so sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy bless you much love."

Chatting to another follower, Linda added: "Bless her @UpLateWithRylan you would never have known… so strong."

Charlotte then replied to say: "Thanks so much Linda! Such kind words! It was a difficult time, but onwards and upwards X."

On Tuesday, Charlotte revealed in an interview that she had been hospitalised with an ectopic pregnancy, telling Heat magazine she had to have an urgent operation to remove her fallopian tube as it had torn and she was bleeding internally.

It happened while on-off boyfriend Gaz Beadle was filming Ex On The Beach in Thailand.

After reading the interview, he published his own column for the Daily Star, saying he thinks the pregnancy should have been kept quiet, and claiming he was single while filming EOTB as neither he nor Charlotte made it official before he left.

She reacted with a Twitter rant, branding him a "liar and a cheat" and saying he couldn't accept he was "in the wrong", and sensationally quit Geordie Shore in order to avoid being around him.

Gaz retaliated by saying she shouldn't have spoken publicly about the pregnancy, adding: "You had your say I had mine.... Just leave it.... Or this will never end... Don't get angry if you don't like what I had to say."

He also said she couldn't blame him for her choice to leave Geordie Shore.

Charlotte and Gaz later deleted their tweets, and Charlotte told fans: "I'm embarrassed about having that ridiculous outburst, I still stand by my decision. But I shouldn't of let my temper get the better of me. My head feels as tho it's going to explode at the's a difficult time. But anything that needs to be said now will be in private (sic)."
