Earlier this week, the second series of Love Island kicked off and last night (1 June), viewers saw Scott break off his blossoming romance with Zara for new girl Kady McDermott instead.
Knowing all too well what it's like to get pied, Jess made sure to show Zara a bit of love on Snapchat and admitted she is feeling a "bit sorry for" Miss Great Britain.
On the first day in the villa, Scott had chosen Zara to couple up with and things had been going well for the pair. They had been the first couple to kiss on the show, and Zara seemed pretty chuffed to be partnered up with Scott after seeing his reaction to her Miss Great Britain secret.
Zara hadn't told anyone about her title, later explaining to Scott she has noticed that guys treat her differently once they know she is the current Miss Great Britain. Scott, meanwhile, didn't seem too phased and told her she should be proud of her crown and it doesn't change anything.
However, he appeared to lose interest in Zara after Kady arrived at the villa. She joined the islanders, along with new boy Terry, and revealed in last night's show she fancies Scott.
He, meanwhile, said: "I actually fancy Kady it's weird. This is how I should feel about a girl, with Zara it wasn't there at all. Kady... I sort of fancy her."
Turning his attentions to Kady, he split with Zara, telling her he feels like he is being "fake" with his affection towards her. Their conversation left Zara in tears and she said in the beach hut: "It never works out for me. What have I done wrong? That's what I don't understand. That's why I always have my guard up because I always get with a guy I fall for...
"I obviously fell for that tw*t. I just feel like a mug."
Watching all the drama unfold, last year's Love Island winner Jess took to Snapchat. She told her followers: "I do feel a bit sorry for Zara. I know it's only been a few days, but I've been in her situation before and it's not nice being pied, I'll tell you that babe."
During her series, Jess initially coupled up with Josh Ritchie only to be dumped by him for latecomer Naomi Ball. She then found herself striking up a romance with Max Morley when he entered the villa, but Max then did the same thing and chose Naomi over Jess, once she had split with Josh.
Their romance was short-lived, though, as Naomi was voted out of the villa by viewers just days later. Max then turned his attentions back to Jess and managed to win her over, with the pair going on to be crowned the winners of the series.
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2.
