The Geordie Shore star revealed this week she was taken to hospital with an ectopic pregnancy while now-ex-boyfriend Gaz Beadle was filming Ex On The Beach in Thailand.
She told Heat magazine she needed an urgent operation to remove her fallopian tube as it had torn and she was bleeding internally.
Since the emotional interview, Charlotte has been inundated with support on social media from her Geordie Shore co-stars, fellow celebrities and fans.
Speaking to Heat Radio today, Charlotte, 26, said: "For the last two days I've been flooded with support from so many people, and a lot of people who have been through it themselves as well, tweeting us to say everything will be fine, and they've had lots of children.
"The support has been overwhelming," she added. "I'm getting choked up talking about it now."
She added to Heat Radio that she wanted to go public with her ordeal as it had been a "weight on her shoulders." She also said she was tired of seeing "nasty" messages about her on social media, as well as wanting people to realise once and for all she and Gary will not be getting back together.
As well as getting public messages of support from her Geordie Shore colleagues, she also received well wishes from TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong and model Nicola McLean, among others.

Charlotte was not paid for her interview, and instead donated her fee to an ectopic pregnancy charity.
"I was so scared that I wasn't going to be able to have babies. I want to have children... They reassured me that I'd still be able to have children, I'd just have to try a bit harder," she told Heat. "I was crying on the phone [to Gary] and he was being so lovely… I was really in love with him."
She added: "All the times before I knew we'd come back together somehow, but this time I knew that was it."
When contacted by Reveal, a rep for Gary declined to comment.
Gaz later tweeted, "Wow at what I just heard.... No more sitting back... No more being quiet... Going to be an interesting week..." which had fans wondering if that was in reference to Charlotte's interview.
He also liked a tweet that read: "@Charlottegshore surely that was something private between you and @GazGShore?"
