Jeremy McConnell has denied reports claiming he 'threatened his cousin to stay away from his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.'

New reports had surfaced alleging that Jeremy had warned his 'cousin' away from Stephanie, after they had apparently liked a picture of hers on social media and asked Jeremy for Steph's number.

However, Jeremy has denied the claims and insisted there is no truth in the reports.

According to Mail Online, they had obtained texts Jeremy had supposedly sent. The messages had read: "Let me know u wont try anythin. Shes mine. U no what I mean... P**ck. Stay away. Wait till I see u (sic)."

Taking to Twitter in response to the reports, Jeremy tweeted: "I don't have a cousin Cayden, the person is a total attention seeking fantasist..."

He added: "All references to messages with him are complete fabrication."

The Irish model has made headlines in recent weeks, after he and former Hollyoaks star Stephanie split for the fourth time. He was first to allude to the break up by telling fans he was turning over a "new leaf" on Twitter, with Steph later confirming the split.

She told fans she was "broken" and had claimed she was pregnant with Jeremy's baby in a now-deleted post on Instagram that included the message: "Yeah loved him unconditionally, after a week of hell and late phone calls and pain he's caused I still kept my phone so I could find him, find out I'm pregnant and he says he doesn't love me anymore and blocked."

At the time, Jeremy assured fans that he would 'take responsibility for his actions' if Stephanie's claims turned out to be true.

This week, Steph confirmed she is pregnant.

She told OK! magazine: "My pregnancy was a shock but I can't wait to be a mum. I hope that Jeremy will want to be a part of this baby's life, but if he decides not to then I am prepared to raise our baby on my own."

The former couple met on CBB in January but have had a rocky relationship, splitting and reuniting on numerous occasions in the past few months. Stephanie appeared to hit out at Jeremy on Twitter yesterday, liking unflattering tweets about her ex - including one telling her that she has "bad taste."
