Love Island's return date has just been confirmed by none other than its host Caroline Flack. Eek!

Eagle-eyed fans spotted a retweet of Caroline's that gave away when the second series will be hitting our screens and the best bit is, we only have TWO WEEKS to wait.

Love Island's new series kicks off on Monday 30 May on ITV2 and we'll get to see a whole new batch of single girls and guys battling it out to be the couple that takes home £50,000.

Caroline retweeted a tweet sent out by ITV's Press Centre that read: "Confirmed: Love Island returns Monday 30 May at 9pm on ITV2."

ITV2 also tweeted: "YOU have a date with @LoveIsland The brand new series kicks off Bank Holiday Monday, 9pm @ITV2 #LoveIsland."

This time round, it's been rumoured a few familiar faces could be thrown into the mix. While Stephanie Davis' ex-beau Sam Reece has denied reports he'll be entering the villa (and not surprisingly as he is currently love-up with girlfriend Taylor Ward), Jordan Davies has hinted he could be making an appearance.

When the rumours hit Twitter, he replied: "Surely not another show is gonna take me... Or have they."

Other names linked to the show are Pete Wicks' ex Riah Read and Lady Colin Campbell's son Dima.

Last year, viewers saw ex-couple Jess Hayes and Max Morley win the show. They beat runners up Jon Clark and Hannah Elizabeth (despite their onscreen engagement) and the show's now only standing couple Luis Morrison and Cally Jane Beech.

We can't wait to find out who'll be following in their footsteps, but in the meantime click here to find out what the Class of 2015 have been up to...
