The reality star-turned-fashion designer is continuing to take acting classes in a bid to launch a new career on screen. How exciting!
Writing in this week's Reveal magazine column, her BFF and former co-star Bobby Cole Norris, 29, said: "Last week, I caught up with my girls, Jess Wright and Danni Armstrong. We had a lovely day, and the weather was so nice - we sat sipping cocktails and putting the world to rights.
"Jess would like to branch off into the acting world, so she's having some acting lessons and seeing how it goes. After leaving TOWIE earlier this year, she went over to LA for some meetings, so who knows where it will all lead. Watch this space!"
Earlier this year, Jess, 30, said she'd love to be taken seriously as an actress, as she acted as a child in plays and even took drama exams.
Jessica told the Sunday People in April: "Television is definitely the way I want to go - maybe doing some presenting or acting. Either way that is what I want. It would be great to land something in a series or sitcom, especially in America - but at the moment I am just starting to get the ball rolling."
If she goes into presenting, she'd be following in brother Mark's footsteps, as he forged a presenting career once he left TOWIE at the end of series three.
As well as hosting Take Me Out: The Gossip and CBBC's The Deningeers, he's returned to host TOWIE live aftershows and has his own radio show on Heart FM.
Meanwhile, another former TOWIE co-star, Ferne McCann, is also pursuing an acting career. She revealed this week she'd been offered a film role while at the Cannes Film Festival and will be flying over to LA in July for further discussions.
