Earlier this month, both Lydia and Arg confirmed they have ended their seven year romance. Reports had hinted at the split, with allegations Arg's partying had got out of hand again, and Lydia recently opened up on their break up, revealing she and Arg had actually called it quits nearly two months ago.
He has since said he is hopeful they can get things back on track, but the pair's co-stars Dan Edgar and Kate Wright aren't so convinced. They admitted they think Lydia and Arg could be over for good.
The couple addressed Lydia and Arg's split in a new video shared by TOWIE's official Twitter account. Kate revealed she had spoken to Lydia and got the feeling that she is now "ready to move on" from Arg.
Kate said: "I have spoken to Lydia... I feel like she feels really happy. She's just in a completely different mindset. Her going to Bali was amazing for her, but I do think it's sad about Arg and Lydia. These things happen, what can you do?"
Dan then added: "As much as I hate to say it, it looks like it's done really."
Kate agreed with her co-star beau, but did claim that she thinks Arg will try and reconcile things.
"I think Arg won't be happy and will try and get her back," she said. "But in my eyes, I feel like she's done and she's ready to move on. She's just found something in her. She seems really strong, really happy... she's just had enough of it."
News of the split first emerged while Lydia was travelling in Indonesia. She had alluded to the break up while in Bali, sharing a cryptic caption with fans on Instagram that read: ""Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations #Indonesia #IslandLife."
Arg, meanwhile, confirmed he and Lydia were taking a break, after enrolling himself at boot camp. He said: "Of course I'm hoping that we'll get back together in the near future. She's away in Bali, which wasn't a holiday to get away from me. It was something she'd had booked in for a while."
Neither he or Lydia have actually given a reason for their split, but she did tell fans that "somethings are not meant to be."
Opening up on her relationship with Arg during a recent interview on ITV's Lorraine, Lydia admitted that she had "no choice" but to end things.
She explained: "Me and James actually broke up nearly seven weeks ago, which was a tough decision to make but I kind of felt I didn't really have a choice. I feel a lot stronger and happier now."
