Jade Thirlwall confirmed that show bosses had been in touch over a potential cameo and revealed she and her bandmates would "love" the opportunity to appear.
Speaking to Australian publication The Daily Telegraph, Jade said: "We would love to do a cameo."
And adding that it could potentially happen in the future, she said: "We were asked. Absolutely."
Little Mix fans will have to hold off from seeing the girls onscreen for now, though, as they couldn't fit time to film into their schedule while over in Oz recently. As part of their Get Weird world tour, Jade, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock recently performed in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
They have now moved on to Japan, but according to the outlet, they have shared their hopes to get on set some time in the future.
If they do, Little Mix will be following in the footsteps of Ed Sheeran and Geordie Shore star Scotty T.
Last year, Ed made a cameo in Home and Away and fans of Scott recently watched him appear on Neighbours. He filmed a segment with Matt Wilson who plays Aaron Brennan on the show.
Speaking of his appearance on Neighbours, Scott had said: "It was weird having to act, even though I was being myself. I'd love to do some more acting; you never know what comes up."
And it sounds like he was a hit on set, as his publicist revealed he has been asked back to film another cameo for the soap. They said: "They liked him so much that they have asked him to go back."
