Fans of the couple have seen the pair fallout in recent weeks, after reports claimed Gaz had bedded three other girls while filming Ex On The Beach last month.
He and Charlotte had been trying to work out if they had a future together, but she vowed to 'stay well away' from Gaz on hearing what he'd been up to. Everyone presumed that meant things are now over for the co-stars, but Gary has hinted that may not be the case...
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Gary had liked a tweet about Charlotte on Twitter, following the first episode of Geordie Shore: Big Birthday Battle airing on MTV.
Viewers watched Charlotte and Gary both return to the house single. Gary opened up about his feelings for Charlotte and told her exactly how he feels about her. He told Charlotte he feels "nervous" when he's around her, and admitted their relationship was one of the reasons why he split with ex-girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg last series.
Last night, Charlotte had been watching the episode back live on periscope with her BFF Sophie Kasaei and it sounds like she got pretty emotional when her scenes with Gaz aired.
One fan commented on Charlotte's reaction and tweeted: "Watching @Charlottegshore get upset on periscope she clearly has massive feelings for @GazGShore and so does he."
Gaz then liked the tweet, suggesting he agrees. Oh, he does know how to toy with our emotions doesn't he!
That came after Gary recently hinted he and Charlotte could get things back on track.
Not only has Gaz said he "regrets" not working out where he stood with Charlotte before heading off to film Ex On The Beach, he has shared his hopes for the pair to rekindle things.
The reality star got cryptic on Instagram recently and shared a quote that read: "If a person keeps coming back and you love each other enough to keep forgiving past mistakes, maybe you were really meant for each other."
He added a green heart emoji alongside his post - Charlotte's favourite colour and the same one he always uses when referring to her.
However, it sounds like the ball is in Charlotte's court. Gary recently revealed he had wanted to make a go of things with her, but she was reluctant to commit.
Gary claimed Charlotte was the one to "blame" for messing up their relationship. He said: "If Charlotte and I were in a proper relationship, like boyfriend and girlfriend, everyone would know. I'd ask her whether we were in a relationship and I didn't get an answer, then [of course] I was going to think I was single."
"If she had said, 'Yes, we are in a relationship,' then it would have been easier," he added. "She's the one that messed up and not me. It was very confusing."
