As this year's series of the show prepares to get underway, Simon Cowell is on the search for a brand new judging panel as Cheryl, Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora have all decided not to return.
Rumours have been rife that Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne could be making a comeback, but it sounds like they may not be the only ones...
According to the Daily Mail, former Pussycat Doll Nicole is likely to join the show for its thirteenth series.
A source close to the 37-year-old has said: "Rita had been in discussions [to return] but it became apparent she was no longer the automatic top option.
"Nicole Scherzinger was a huge success whens she was on the X Factor a few years ago and has long been part of the X Factor family. She provided fun and entertainment and [was] a huge personality to the show. She is the definite favourite to get the seat next to Simon."
Well, she does have plenty of experience!
Nicole made her X Factor debut as a judge back in 2012 when she temporarily stepped in for both Danni Minogue and Cheryl at different stages of the competition. She helped form One Direction at boot camp, before going on to become a fully fledged judge two years later in 2014.
She joined Louis, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos and won with her act James Arthur. Nicole returned to The X Factor the following year, and joined the panel for the first series of the American version.
News of her addition to X Factor's new series comes after Rita confirmed she had quit the show.
She announced her departure on Twitter, telling fans: "I had a ball on The X Factor last year and will miss the team."
Rita also publicly thanked Simon. In a second tweet she added: "Can't wait to work with you again. I'll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience & love."
Radio 1 DJ Nick was the first to step down from the pall, insisting he preferred watching the show at home than being a judge on it. Cheryl then followed suit, revealing she wants to focus on her new music instead.
Hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs will also not be returning - they have been replaced by former host Dermot O'Leary.
He had originally quit The X Factor after presenting the competition for eight years. Speaking of his return, Dermot has said: "I'm very flattered to be asked back to The X Factor, and am currently dusting off my dancing shoes."
