Last night, Graham presented the British Academy Television Awards, held at London's Royal Festival Hall, and it was aired to millions around the country on BBC One.
However, when opening the ceremony, Graham poked fun at Caroline's departure from The X Factor, which has seen former host Dermot O'Leary take up the helm once more as host.
Graham quipped: "I for one really enjoyed the much-nominated Car Share. I think my favourite bit was when Matt LeBlanc did the doughnut around the cenotaph.
"It was probably the biggest U-turn of the year, unless of course you count Simon Cowell going, 'Err, does anyone still have Dermot's number'
"I'm not saying the writing's on the wall for Caroline Flack, but you could get better odds for Anne Boleyn returning to the second series of Wolf Hall."
Earlier today, Caroline posted an inspiring message on Instagram, and it has left her followers questioning whether it was aimed at comic Graham's joke.
The post reads: "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you said, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Alongside the post, she commented: "Big week ahead... A thought for Monday."
Meanwhile, to add to the speculation, Caroline has also 'favourited' a tweet from TV presenter Dawn O'Porter, which slams Graham for his gag.
Dawn tweeted: "Usually so in love with Graham Norton but what's with opening the BAFTAS with a really personal and nasty dig at my girl @carolineflack1?!?. I just don't get that."
Meanwhile, Caroline has also taken to Instagram today to defend her black jumpsuit, which she wore to the event.
She said: "I LOVED my jumpsuit @halstonheritage and had a great night ... And I love my buddies and my fam... And that's about it, it's just a outfit. What a week."
Since hers and co-presenter Olly Murs' X Factor departure announcement, Caroline has landed a fab new gig on Heart FM, alongside Gethin Jones.
