In what was a very dramatic day for the couple, Steph and Jeremy appeared to split for the fourth time, but not before former Hollyoaks actress Steph slammed claims that she had gone 'AWOL' and shared private messages allegedly showing Irish model Jeremy flirting with another woman and promising to treat her like "a princess".
On Wednesday night, a fan tweeted Steph with a screenshot of a now-deleted tweet appearing to show Jeremy asking former Geordie Shore star Vicky.
The tweet from Jeremy is thought to have read: "@VickyGShore when u takin me out. [sic]"
Upon seeing the screenshot, Steph, who was putting the break up behind her by spending the day with a friend, replied: "So glad I have my dignity and pride and not desperate! Love my girls @Helen_HH @NadineMerabi #finallybacktome #girls #manchester home."
She later added, tweeting a fan: "Desperate ain't it. So cringe."
Jeremy is yet to publicly respond. Reveal have also contacted both of their reps following the latest split claims.
Earlier, after sharing screenshots of the private messages, Steph said she was "broken" but said she still "loves" Jeremy and will "be there for him when he gets help".
Just hours earlier, Steph went on a confusing Twitter rant, where she hit out at "lies" while saying:
It's been far from smooth-sailing for Steph and Jeremy, who found love on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, even though she was still in a relationship with model Sam Reece at the time.
Cheating allegations have caused the couple to split several times, with Jeremy admitting to sleeping with club dancer Caroline Pope in Newcastle following his CBB eviction - although he says he hadn't cheated because they were single at the time. He also confessed to sleeping with a woman named Dani the day after he split from Steph for the second time earlier in March.
The couple's third break up came towards the end of March, but they rekindled their romance after Jeremy flew out to Spain to win her back.
Speaking on Ireland's Seven O'Clock Show last month, Jeremy said: "We're very happy together. Obviously coming out of the house, it's a whirlwind. We've had our ups and downs. She's only 23 and I turned 26 a few weeks ago, we're still young for that kind of life.
"We don't help ourselves with some of the stuff that we've done but we're very happy together and we're just adapting... trying to get through it all. We put things on social media, which is our own fault as well, so it gives people the right. We're certainly learning as we go. We have to stay true to ourselves."
