Following their red carpet appearance at the Met Gala in New York, Kanye called into Steve Harvey radio's show to talk about his upcoming tour and his relationship with Kim.
Speaking about Kim, who is mother to his two children - daughter North and son Saint - Kanye said: "She broke boundaries with fashion where designers weren't trying to make clothes with women with shape, and now they're all about embracing and empowering women.
"She's empowering women in a matriarch society where women can make money. Like when she said, 'OK my husband might have invested everything he had into fashion, everything he had into creativity for breaking boundaries, but I put the money in the account.' All of those statements, means that can't nobody ever disrespect my wife, period."
And, discussing *that* Twitter feud with Wiz Khalifa earlier this year, Kanye said: "You know how you would feel if someone was talking about your wife. Did I take it too far? You know what? I'm from 79th Street Chicago. I can't say that if someone says 'F you,' I can't say I'm not gonna say the exact same thing back."
The Met Gala, arguably the most anticipated fashion event of the year, saw A-listers sashay down the red carpet as they delivered their take on the theme, Manus x Machina: Fashion in the Age of Technology.
Kim and Kanye made a fashionable entrance kitted out in Balmain, while Kanye made sure his wife was looking picture perfect on the red carpet before she posed for photos.
