Rylan Clark-Neal stormed off the set of This Morning - after seeing a childhood photo of himself as a redhead.

While hosting his regular showbiz segment, Rylan was talking about new research which claims gingers look younger than they are.

Photos of ‚ÄčNicole Kidman, Julianne Moore and Damian Lewis began to appear, and soon after, Rylan, with his natural hair colour.

Rylan questioned: "What's this. We've got a photo? What, we haven't. From where?"

When the school photo appeared on screen, Rylan wasted no time in saying his goodbyes. Giving Ruth Langsford a kiss on the cheek and a handshake with guest presenter James Martin, Rylan jokingly quipped: "I won't be back."

Even after Rylan walked off, Ruth continued to look at the picture: "Is that really him? Is that really him? Ah I love it, bless him. I love you more looking at that picture."

Rylan will be on our TV screens a lot in the coming months with the launch of his own late-night entertainment show, Up Late With Rylan.

Starting on Channel 5 on 9 May at 11pm, Rylan's show will be filmed at The Hospital Club in Central London from Monday to Thursday, with celebrity guests, news and gossip, games and live music performances.
