Charlie joins the band with 18-year-old musician Sean killeen, guitarist and singer Liam Ross and Swedish drummer Gabriel Gomér.

Thanking fans following his announcement, Charlie said: "I haven't had time in the last two days (Been mad) But honestly thank you guys Sooooo much for the amazing support! I love you all!"

Charlie's announcement comes as his former bandmateJames Graham was also recently in LA working with famed record producer Rodney Jerkins.

Stereo Kicks announced their split in July last year after releasing just one single. Charlie isn't the only member to join a new band, as Reece Bibby now performs in boy band New Hope Club, who were supporting The Vamps on tour.
