Gaz Beadle has confirmed he left the Geordie Shore house to talk with then-girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg and try to sort his head out.

The reality star, 28, filmed the current series of Geordie Shore last year while in a relationship with Lillie, which he says has left him in a confusing situation when it comes to ex-girlfriend Charlotte Crosby.

We all know the Geordie Shore house is about booze, parties and the shag pad, so it's not the easiest environment to be in when you're not single. As Gaz has been finding out.

On tonight's episode, fans saw Gaz comforting housemate Charlotte after she had a massive row with Marnie Simpson after a drunken night out, but admitting he found the whole situation to be a "head f**k" and he needed to leave.

He's now told Confession Cam: "It's hard because I'm watching [Charlotte] in a fight and trying to comfort her but I am comforting her too much? Is it flirting? Not flirting? How close do I get to comfort her without being in the wrong?

"I don't feel I'm doing anything wrong. I find myself cuddling Charlotte and getting very close but I'm not getting close, I'm just comforting a friend, so it's very confusing for me.

"This isn't the best place to be when you haven't got the head space or you're trying to think about things so, for me, I'm going to get out of the house, try to clear my head, and think about what I'm going to do with Lillie because at the moment there are a lot of people single in here. Have I got into a relationship too early?

"I honestly do not know. I need to go and talk to Lillie to sort my head out and then I'll come back."
