It was announced last month that Harry has landed a part in Christopher Nolan's thriller Dunkirk alongside Tom Hardy, Sir Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy.
Now, actor and director Danny has told the New York Daily News: "The big thing I told One Direction when they were breaking up was that they should take all their money and get some acting lessons."
Did Harry take Danny's advice on board? Matilda star Danny first met Harry in 2014 after appearing in One Direction's music video for 'Steal My Girl'.
With Harry preparing to make his transition from heartthrob to Hollywood star, Danny said he has so far been impressed by the boy band star's talent.
"He is like a natural, a handsome guy, and is good. And he needs to work on his skills a little," added Danny.
One Direction - Harry, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - announced their hiatus last year and are now taking a break from group commitments.
