'Crying for No Reason' singer Katy actually appeared as a guest judge on The Voice in 2014 when she helped out Ricky Wilson's team.
However, she admitted that she was nervous ahead of her stint, thinking: "'What am I going to say to these people' because their voices were like 10 times better than mine."
Speaking to Evening Standard online, Katy said: "Maybe earlier on in my career I'd be nervous about being a judge on those shows.
"But now I've got a bit of experience, maybe – we'll have to wait and see. It would be something interesting to do – I'm always up for a change of scenery."
There's lots of change ahead for both talent shows. The Voice will be moving to ITV next year in a new three-year deal, with no word as of yet about who will be sitting in spinning red chairs.
Meanwhile, the judging panel will also see a overhaul on The X Factor, with Simon Cowell expected to sit on the panel with Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne, with another fourth judge.
