Charlotte and Marnie majorly come to blows in Tuesday night's episode of the show and their co-stars and security have to intervene to separate the girls as they fight.
As things get very heated between them, Gary carries Charlotte away from the drama and tells her he'll "always have her back." But, does he begin to question his relationship with then-girlfriend Lillie Lexie Gregg as he and Charlotte get close?
The drama all starts with Marnie kissing show newcomer Marty McKenna. Chloe sees red as she and Marty have history and she likes him. Marnie is her best friend and she feels that Marnie knows this and should know to stay clear of him.
Marnie, however, deliberately flirts with Marty to try and annoy Aaron. She is mad at him for having a fake tattoo of her name put on him and thinks flirting with Marty will help her to get her own back.
However, Aaron isn't phased as he works out what Marnie is doing and it's Chloe who kicks off instead. She calls Marnie out for being "all over" Marty, but Marnie tries to accuse Chloe of playing down her feelings for the newbie.
Charlotte, meanwhile, tells Chloe she has her back and "understands", as Marnie has done the same to her with Gary in the past. And when Charlotte hears Marnie arguing with Chloe she is quick to intervene and it all kicks off. We're talking pushing and shoving, hair being pulled and the girls having to be dragged apart. Ouch.
Sat outside with Gary, Charlotte is in tears over her fallout with Marnie. She admits: "I'm so upset about everything that has happened, I can't believe it's come down to me and Marnie having a massive fight. The one person there for us is Gary and I'm so grateful that I've got him in this house."
Gary, who viewers recently saw admit there was "always going to be something" between him and Charlotte, is torn between comforting her and being respectful to Lillie.
He says: "When Charlotte is like this nobody can calm her down but me. Obviously I want to be there for Charlotte in a time like this, but having a girlfriend makes it so hard."
MTV had teased that Charlotte and Gary kiss, but in this latest sneak peek video of next week's action, you can see that they don't.
Gary does get into bed with Charlotte and tells her he wants a hug. When he jokes he can't be the "big spoon" while they're cuddling, he asks her if she is ok and turns his head, as Charlotte actually plants a kiss on his cheek - not his lips.
That's still enough, though, to cast doubt in Gary's mind. He says: "F**king hell. This is a head f**k. I need to get out of this bed."
Fans will already know that Gary ends up leaving the Geordie Shore house. His exit has already been teased, with Gary claiming he needs to "sort his head out."
That's after he tells his co-stars: "As long as I live with [Charlotte], that flame is never going to go out..."
Geordie Shore continues Tuesday 26 April at 10pm on MTV.
