The pair had been dating for several months, but a rep for Scott has now confirmed to Reveal he and Chloe have ended their romance.
Chloe had fans questioning whether her relationship with Scott had come to an end last week. She had appeared to delete all photos of the pair together from her account and posted a telling quote about loyalty. It read: "It doesn't matter how loyal you are to someone, you can't change someone's heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves."
Alongside it, Chloe shared a lengthy caption with her followers. She told them: "Do not give away your loyalty with out due diligence. Some people are just takers and are incapable of investing the same as you do into them. Trust and loyalty are two things I do not believe should ever be compromised on.
"I will not have my 'purity' mistaken for naivety. If you respect and care deeply for me then I am someone that will love back in a very deep and honest way but I know not to be taken for a ride."
"Do not endanger your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, for loyalty and devotion to someone that does not know the meaning," she concluded. "For you are only being disloyal to yourself."
On seeing her post, former X Factor star Jay James had sent Chloe his well wishes, telling the singer he hopes she is ok. Chloe (who reached Judges' Houses on The X Factor last year) replied she is looking forward to doing some songwriting - suggesting she'll be channeling the split in her material.
Neither she or Scott have commented publicly on their break up, although a source (reportedly close to the couple) has suggested their split was due to 'trust issues.'
They told Daily Star: "The relationship has been unstable for a while. There didn't seem to be any trust in the relationship. I just don't think Chloe could come to terms with Scott's 'womaniser' past."
The pair were first linked back in January, after they were seen kissing at a showbiz bash in London.
