Laura Whitmore is the latest name being rumoured for the next series of Strictly Come Dancing, it would seem.

The Irish television presenter, 30, recently quit as the host of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!'s spinoff show, so does that mean her diary would be wide open to learn some ballroom dances?

According to The Sun On The Sunday, bosses at the BBC One show are eager to snap up Laura for the 14th series of the hugely successful show.

A source said: "Laura is gorgeous and has cool celeb friends that could support her in the audience reach such as Niall Horan and former champ Caroline Flack."

If she did head to Strictly, she would be literally following in Caroline's footsteps, as Caroline once hosted I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here NOW! as well.

Laura announced last week she was leaving the ITV2 spinoff show to focus on other projects.

In a statement, she said: "After five incredible series working with my extended I'm A Celeb family, I've taken the tough decision to hang up my jungle boots. It's been such a wonderful experience but I feel it's time to move on. I wish the team well and look forward to tuning in later this year as well as continuing to work with ITV on other shows."

She added on Instagram: "Five incredible series! Sorry to say goodbye but been thinking about it for a long time and it's time. Still my favourite show on the telly!!"
