It was only earlier this month that Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha excited fans by sharing a throwback photo of the girl group and quoted a lyric from their track 'B With Me', writing: "It's the Mis-Teeq ladies, we're coming back strong!"
And now, she's revealed that herself, Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash will have a conversation about reforming.
While speaking to Alan Carr on Chatty Man, Alesha was asked if a reunion was in the works.
"Do you know what," Alesha began, "Su-Elise is in Australia at the moment and she is coming back in May and I called up Sabrina yesterday and said, look when she is back, let's sit down and have a conversation. We'll have a chat. That is all we can do.
"I don't know how it will happen, when, or what we will do but it feels like there is love out there for Mis-Teeq, and you know, maybe."
Mis-Teeq had three top 10 double platinum albums and seven consecutive top 10 singles in the UK.
They released their debut studio album Lickin' On Both Sides in 2001. The trio announced their split in 2005 with plans to pursue solo careers and released a greatest hits album before disbanding.
Alan Carr Chatty Man – airs on Thursday 7 April on Channel 4 at 10pm
