TOWIE's Chloe Meadows has admit she was upset by what co-star Kate Wright said to her last week, adding it was "quite harsh."

Newcomer Chloe and best pal Courtney Green haven't had the easiest introduction to TOWIE life after ruffling feathers among the girls.

Most recently, it was Chloe in the firing line. First, after she took a swipe at Kate's style, comparing it to a wedding outfit, and second, after Kate said she'd heard a rumour Chloe thought Kate and Dan Edgar should break up so Chloe could comfort Dan.

Chloe vehemently denied that.

Speaking to the TOWIE official website, Chloe said: "I feel like the other night there was so such tension going on, I feel like Kate was being quite harsh towards me. Some of the things she said actually upset me and made me feel hurt.

"I don't know if she'd want to apologise for that. I feel I did apologise to her for upsetting her with the wedding comment. I feel me and Courtney have accepted our faults in the whole situation, in all that's gone on since the beginning and the whole Danni / Lockie thing."

Courtney added: "The minute they said sorry, I said, fine, you've said sorry, I believe you, I'll drop it. But I've said sorry to Kate and she's carried it on."

Chloe agreed: "We have taken all this on and they aren't taking any of their own responsibility so maybe that needs to happen."

Their best friend Megan McKenna chipped in to say she didn't expect the girls to all be best friends, but in an ideal world, all the Essex ladies could be at the same venue in the future without rowing.

"I'm not going to let it get to the point where none of us can be out at the same place and can't talk. If we can be in the same place at the same time on nights out I'm happy with that. I'm not asking them to be best friends with them, I just think it would be so much easier for me if we could all be in the same place without rowing."

TOWIE continues tonight at 10pm on ITVBe.
