The former TOWIE star made a welcome return to the ITVBe show on Sunday evening (3 April), popping in briefly for a glass of wine with Danielle Armstrong and Billie Faiers to discuss the latest Essex gossip and give an update on her life.
Ferne, who quit the show before the 17th series started, told the girls that she's been hard at work in rehearsals for her very first musical theatre role in a version of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic The Great Gatsby.
She told the girls: "Honestly the rehearsals are absolutely taking it out of me. I am American in the play."
Ferne then gave a demo of her American accent!
Talk then turned to the latest in Essex. In particular, what is going on between Danielle and her ex-boyfriend James 'Lockie' Lock.
Ferne opined: "I feel like totally at the moment it's very much one-sided and it looks like you've chased him. I spend a lot of time with you. He rings your house phone…
"That's what he does when he can't get hold of me," agreed Danielle, saying she'd blocked Lockie on social media so he used friends' phones to call her, so she blocked them too.
"We all thought he was this changed man," said Ferne. "I'm sure he is in many ways but he has shown his old self a little bit."
Danielle agreed, saying: "I made the right decision a few months ago [when we broke up] but I was doubting myself the last few weeks but we're definitely not right for each other. 100 per cent."
Fans took to Twitter to reveal how good he was to see Ferne back on screens again - and beg her to come back!
