The former X Factor judge and N-Dubz star, 27, was driving a car that was involved in a collision outside Southgate Underground Station in North London back in September 2015.
She was charged this month.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police told The Evening Standard: "A woman has been charged with driving offences following a collision on September 10, 2015 outside Southgate Underground Station.
"Tulisa Contostavlos, 27, of Enfield was charged on Monday, March 7 with drink driving and dangerous driving.
"She was bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Monday, April 4."
It has been reported Tulisa was driving a Ferrari worth just under £200,000, which collided with a Saab belonging to a couple. There were no reported injuries.
