ITV's new five-part series, to be hosted by Vernon Kay, pitches eight well known celebrities against each other in an adrenaline charged race with a difference.
Joining the trio will be actor and comedian Johnny Vegas; Olympic athlete Colin Jackson; TV presenter Mariella Frostrup; weather expert Laura Tobin and broadcaster Angus Deayton.
The celebrities will take to the driving seats of old bangers, buggies, 4x4s and rallycross cars and will be tasked with action packed driving challenges.
The celebrities with the slowest time in each challenge will battle it out in a Night Race to see who will remain in the competition. Those lucky enough to reach the final will burn up the tracks in an F4 car in a bid to be crowned the Drive Champion.
UK racing legend and double British Touring Car Champion, Jason Plato, will also be on hand with his expert advice to help the celebs.
Drive, which will feature the thrills and spills of motor racing, will test the celebrities to their limits but who will steer themselves to victory?
Vernon said: "Everyone thinks they can drive - but can they? This show will test not only their skills behind the wheel but also how they control their fear. Drive is not just about straight line speed, all driving skills are going to be tested. But when it's not your clutch you're burning or your tyres you're shredding, it's full steam ahead!"
