On last night's episode, the reality star told James 'Lockie' Lock that he didn't need to apologise to Megan McKenna, Pete Wicks or anyone else following the recent drama, as whatever he does, he is just sticking up for Georgia.
Lockie had asked Tommy if he had an issue with Megan, following rumours that was the case. Tommy insisted he didn't, but he wouldn't go out of his way to be friendly with someone whose friends - Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green - had agg with Georgia.
Speaking to the TOWIE official website after the episode, he added: "It was good to clear the air. A lot of stuff has been happening, a lot of tension at the minute with the alpha male competition, Georgia having stress with the girls, I do get caught up in stuff as well but defending Georgia is my goal - ain't nothing personal."
Tommy added that all is well with Lockie, saying he appreciated Lockie speaking to him personally rather than saying things behind his back.
"Lockie was just sticking up for his friend I suppose," said Tommy. "Good on him. At least someone has a voice around here. People say things but not to your face. He said it to my face. I ain't got no issue with Lockie but with all these things at the minute, the alpha male competitions, and him not being on my team, obviously there is going to be some friction there. But no negativity."
There has been plenty of tension and drama lately between the girls: Courtney and Chloe M arrived on the scene back in Gran Canaria and Courtney ruffled feathers thanks to a rumour she had slept with Lockie, the ex-boyfriend of Danielle Armstrong. Georgia, being a close friend of Danielle, investigated the rumour, which Courtney and Lockie both denied. It led to tension between Georgia and Courtney though, and Georgia breaking down over social media backlash to the situation.
Megan is best friends with Courtney and Chloe M.
Meanwhile, Megan said yesterday: "I've heard that maybe Tommy and Dan have a problem with me. I don't really know why and I'm a bit confused. I do think it's a bit unfair that they're saying Pete has changed when he really hasn't. I haven't made Pete change. He's just found a girl who he gets on with and I really get on with him. I don't see where the problem is there."
TOWIE continues Wednesday at 10pm on ITVBe.
