Mark Wright came over all sentimental on Instagram, albeit briefly, when talking about his wife Michelle Keegan, telling fans it had been his 'dream' to marry her.

In a now deleted post, Mark had shared a picture of Michelle in a bikini from several years back and revealed that seeing that picture was the first moment he fell for her.

According to the Mail Online, Mark had posted a gushy message alongside the photo, reflecting on his relationship with Michelle.

It had read: "I will never forget the day I first saw this pic. Before we had ever met. I said "one day I will take that girl on a date". We then bumped into each other."

"After one conversation I said "whatever it takes, one day I will make that girl my wife". She made it hard but just over 3 years later it happened," Mark continued. "Never give up on something you want so badly. You can make any dream come true by just believing (sic)."

Can you get any more smitten?!

Mark and Michelle initially met over in December 2012, while they were both holidaying in Dubai for New Year. The pair began dating and nine months later, Mark and Michelle returned to Dubai where they got engaged in September 2013.

Mark had popped the question to the former Corrie star, with Michelle revealing their engagement by tweeting at the time: "It's true. Mark and I are engaged! We are so SO happy!"

The couple then tied the knot in front of family and friends at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmunds in May 2015.

Mark is headed to South Africa to see Michelle very soon.

Mark's latest gushy message about his wife comes after he revealed he is missing Michelle.

Michelle is currently working away in South Africa to film the new series of BBC's Our Girl. She has landed the lead role in the military drama as Corporal Georgie Lane and despite shooting on location, the actress will be reunited with her husband very soon.

Mark revealed he has work of his own to carry out, before he can then jet to South Africa to see Michelle. He told fans: "Cheers !! Off away working for short while, then the wait is over as I'll be off to see my partner in crime and love of my life... It's been too long!!"

Ahead of venturing to South Africa, Michelle admitted she would find it "tough" without Mark by her side.

The 28-year-old had said: "Obviously I'll miss him and I'll miss home, but it's my first job working away properly and I'm just excited for the challenge... It'll be tough but worth it."
