Mark Wright is missing his wife Michelle Keegan, telling fans: "It's been too long."

Michelle is currently filming in South Africa for BBC's Our Girl, meaning she and Mark have been having to do the whole long distance thing when it comes to their relationship, as he is at home in Essex.

However, that's all about to change as Mark revealed he is off to carry out some work overseas before touching down in South Africa himself and reunite with Michelle.

Taking to Instagram, Mark shared a photo of himself enjoying a glass of champagne as he boarded a plane. Alongside his photo, the former TOWIE star said: "Cheers !! Off away working for short while, then the wait is over as I'll be off to see my partner in crime and love of my life... It's been too long!!"

Michelle, meanwhile, has been turning us green with envy on her Instagram page, as in between read throughs with the cast and shooting the new series of Our Girl, she has been topping up her tan.

Taking over from Lacey Turner, Michelle has landed herself the lead role in Our Girl's new series as Corporal Georgie Lane and fans were recently given a first look at her donning her character's military uniform. She looks pretty incredible, right?

Ahead of jetting out to South Africa, Michelle proved she was taking her new role very seriously and spoke of her plans to bulk up for it to Reveal.

She told us: "I'm obviously doing a bit of training myself in the gym and trying to get fit. You'd think I have to diet, but if anything I want to put on a bit of bulk, so I'm eating quite a lot at the minute."

She also admitted she would find it "tough" without having Mark by her side. Opening up about how she'll cope with being away from him, Michelle had said in an interview last year: "Obviously I'll miss him and I'll miss home, but it's my first job working away properly and I'm just excited for the challenge... It'll be tough but worth it."

Mark and Michelle wed in May last year. They had previously got engaged in Dubai in September 2013, nine months after they initially began dating.
