Megan McKenna has hit out at Natasha Hamilton after the singer made comments about her recent burger rant.

Ex On The Beach star Megan, who suffers from coeliac disease and has a strict gluten-free diet, recently posted a series of Snapchat videos ranting about McDonald's staff members being "stupid" because her order wasn't right - she wanted a burger but without the bun.

Atomic Kitten singer Natasha hit out at Megan in her weekly column for Star magazine, saying Megan should take the bun off herself.

Under the title "Burger off, Megan", Natasha said: "I saw Megan McKenna ranting about McDonald's staff being stupid because they couldn't work out that she wanted a burger without the bun. But why didn't she just order the burger and take the bun off herself?"

After being notified about Natasha's comments by a fan, Megan hit back via Twitter, trying to explain that she can't have the bun in case traces of it contaminate the burger.

"I have coeliac disease and can't have the burger bun," she said. "People don't realise how serious coeliac disease is."

Directing a tweet at Natasha, Megan continued: "@NatashaOfficial just seen your column. The reason I don't have a bun with the burger is because I'm Coeliac. And it's a very serious disease. People shouldn't judge before they know the actual facts."

But Natasha hit back in a series of tweets: "@Megan_Mckenna_ Eating burgers causes diseases too. Maybe rethink your next fast food option then?"

She continued: "@Megan_Mckenna_ the whole point of the 'comment' was because you called everyone thick in McD's & I offered a solution to a problem 'tis all."

Megan has yet to respond to Natasha's tweets.
