The One Direction star, 22, has landed a major film role, opposite the likes of Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance and Sir Kenneth Branagh, says The Sun.
According to the newspaper, the singer and wannabe actor has been cast in Christopher Nolan's new film - a World War Two thriller called Dunkirk.
The Warner Bros film, predicted to be a huge blockbuster, will be released in July next year and is set to begin filming in May.
Will this new military role mean the end of Harry's long mane, though? What will his fans think?
A source said: "Harry has gone straight in at the top. Dunkirk will be massive.
"He was asked to audition for the part - which will be substantial - and impressed Christopher.
"This is now a great chance for him to show his acting skills and put himself in the frame for more huge movie roles."
The report stresses that Harry will still very much continue with his music career, too.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Harry will play a young man caught up in the evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk as a fierce battle between the Allies and Nazi Germany is waged.
Newcomer Fionn Whitehead, Cilla's Aneurin Barnard and War And Peace's Jack Lowden will also star.
The four members of One Direction are currently on a year-long break from the band, which began after they released their fifth album in March 2016.
Simon Cowell has said he's "absolutely sure" there would be solo albums from the group.
Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson is busy being a dad to new son Freddie, Liam Payne is dating Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Niall Horan is rumoured to be seeing America's Next Top Model star Jessica Serfaty.
