TOWIE newcomer Jon Clark has bared his bum for all to see on Instagram... and we're not exactly sure why.

He's known for being a bit of a cheeky chappy, but Jon had many fans amused and confused where he posted a photo of himself to social media with his trousers around his ankles.

A little too much maybe, Jon?

In his photo, Jon can be seen rocking a khaki green tracksuit and matching beanie hat. He had his back to the camera and his trousers pulled down, as he flashed a smile and dared to put his derrière on display to his 214,000 followers.

He wrote alongside his post: "[Do not] try this at home."

What was the reason for him dropping his kecks?!

We think it has something to do with Jon's previous post... He shared a pap shot of himself and a handful of the TOWIE boys (Team Alpha to be precise: James Lock, Pete Wicks, Michael Hassini and Jon's younger brother Chris Clark) rocking white mankinis and giving Borat a run for his money.

They had taken on Team Real (Tommy Mallet, Jake Hall, Dan Edgar, Liam Gatsby and James 'Diags' Bennewith) at a football match and after losing 6-0, Jake presented Jon and co with their forfeit.

Fair play to them for going through with it!

All jokes aside, though, the boys' football match actually got pretty intense. After all that fighting talk, tensions spilled over on the pitch and Pete and Jake came to blows.

The two guys had to be separated, after squaring up to each other when Pete confronted Jake over a misplaced tackle that led to Jon going to A&E. He has fractured his rib.

Speaking about the scuffle after the game, Pete said: "We"re both quite competitive people so things went a little bit over the top. I thought he was going in a bit on Jon. Jon is part of Team Alpha so I thought I'd try and calm it down. He didn't take that very well, then I didn't take that very well, and it's one of those things."

Lockie, meanwhile, insisted his team were "dignified losers." He said: "I wasn't disappointed. The best team on the day was out on pitch and it just wasn't our day, we just take it on the chin. But listen, they might have won the battle, but they certainly haven't won the war."

Something tells us the battle between the boys isn't over just yet...

TOWIE continues Sunday 13 March at 10pm on ITVBe.
