In a now deleted Instagram post last week, Tara told Stephanie to be wary of Jez with a literal warning sign, sharing a snap of herself holding up a sign emblazoned with the words 'watch out Stephanie'.
The warning came after Tara claimed she had found herself in a similar love triangle situation to the Celebrity Big Brother lovebirds when she appeared on the reality show Beauty School Cop Outs alongside Jeremy.
Now Steph has appeared to respond to her with a series of tweets. Although she didn't name Tara directly, the former Hollyoaks actress referenced 'selling stories' which she blasted as 'fake', which has led fans to speculate she's talking about Tara.
She wrote: "Selling fake story's for a tenner, how desperate can one be wasn't even an ex that's what's funny! Ahhhhhahaha what a drip (sic)."
Steph continued to rant, claiming the move was motivated by money: "Next article of hers will be the love story of her and David guest! Anything for a bit of money I'm howlling. Drip. (sic)"
Soon afterwards Tara responded with tweets of her own, saying: "Thanks @Stephdavis77 for all your lovely tweets," alongside a crying with laughter emoji, to which an unimpressed Steph replied: "bore off you fame hungry MELT. It's so boring. Enjoy that tenner. IM CRINGING for u. Desperate Ming."
Tara, 22, had previously told The Sun that she also found herself caught up in a love triangle with Jez, and that he used "the exact same lines" to woo her, and said she dumped her boyfriend in 2014 to be with him. When Steph met Jez, she was also in a relationship - with First Dates star Sam Reece.
Branding their relationship a "showmance" rather than the real deal, Tara warned "Stephanie needs to watch her back."
However, Jez appeared to laugh off Tara's comments, responding to a tweet in the early hours of this morning saying "beg" alongside two crying with laughter emojis.
This latest bout of Jephanie drama comes after the pair caused mass confusion after announcing they'd split up due to "pressure" on their relationship, and then quickly told fans they were back on track.
However it turned out it was all just a big misunderstanding. Steph explained during their joint appearance on Loose Women: "I said I can't do this anymore, meaning like us being apart... people selling stories that aren't true, and about him taking selfies and trying to say he cheated when he didn't. It was all getting on top of me, we're tired, we've not stopped, and I said 'I can't do this' but he took it as though I ended it with him.
"He said he had been mugged off but I didn't mean that. I was having a Bridget Jones moment and he was angry with me because he thought I ended it, which I understand how it came across. [It was] a misunderstanding."
