And we immediately broke out into song:
"Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the heart does go on..."
Kate and Leo reunited on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre at the weekend as the 88th Annual Academy Awards hit Hollywood.
Hosted by Chris Rock and with some of our favourite A-listers in attendance, the Oscars are the awards we all wait for every year.
So, how fitting that we got one major warm, fuzzy moment seeing Jack and Rose together again. Aaaaw..
Kate was nominated for Best Supporting Actress but lost out to The Danish Girl's Alicia Vikander.
She looked stunning, however, in Ralph Lauren and was all smiles from start to finish.
As we would have been, if given the honour of EVER being on the arm of an Armani-tuxed Leo!
Leonardo, who has never won an Oscar before, was the talk of the evening, with everyone wondering if he would finally walk away with that well-deserved and long overdue gong for Best Actor.
He was up against some serious competition from the likes of Matt Damon in The Martian, Michael Fassbender's Steve Jobs, Eddie Redmayne in The Danish Girl and Bryan Cranston in Trumbo.
But after already scooping a Golden Globe and a BAFTA to name just a few, it was surely going to be Leo's year...
And yes, it certainly was, because well done Leonardo, after six nominations, you are now officially an Academy Award winner for your role as Hugh Glass in The Revenant.
