Lucy joined fellow guest Ashley Roberts at the event, which was hosted by Laura Whitmore, to discuss how reality TV has impacted our lives and made it a not-so-guilty-pleasure viewing for us all!
hayu is a next generation all-reality subscription video-on-demand service launching in the UK and Ireland on 1 March.
Lucy said: "I forget about the cameras. There's been times when I watch things back and I'm like, 'did I actually say that?' My facial expressions just run away with themselves.
"People screengrab them and send them to me. There's memes of me still going around; there's a few! It's important to forget the camera because it sort of breaks that fourth wall. If not it isn't as real and people see through that fakeness."
A first in its market, hayu will offer more than 3000 episodes of top reality shows, and majority of the US shows will debut on the same day as their US launch.

hayu will also connect the user with social media, where they can follow and interact with their favourite stars from their top reality shows.
Ashley said on social media and it's relevance to reality TV: "It's a representation of yourself. Being a person on a reality show or a celebrity, it's who you are, so I totally judge you! I'm like, 'what are you posting?' Men, if you have too many selfies, avoid! I'm not having it."
Speaking about the launch of hayu, self-confessed reality TV superfan Laura said: "I'm a massive reality TV fan – and proud of it! When NBCUniversal International asked me to host this very special event I was thrilled. hayu's got all my favourite TV shows in one place, it looks great, and best of all, the majority of episodes appear on the same day as they air in the US – I'm already obsessed!"
Launching next month, hayu will feature top reality shows including Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Made in Chelsea, The Real Housewives, Top Chef, RuPaul's Drag Race, Don't Tell the Bride and The Millionaire Matchmaker.
