Putting your personal life onscreen can open you up to a whole host of opinions and being on Geordie Shore, Aaron knows that us viewers get to see the good, the bad and the ugly - and that's not always ideal when the whole of the Twitter'verse then have comments to make.
But, proving he doesn't let those critical comments get to him, Aaron told his followers he "expects" everyone to have an opinion on him - given his job - and appeared to send out a message to his fellow reality stars.
Sharing a cryptic tweet last night, Aaron said: "Being on any reality TV show you have to expect that every[one] and I mean every[one] has an opinion on you!! [Whether] it be good or bad."
Being on any reality TV show you have to expect that every1 and I mean every1 has an opinion on you!! weather it be good or bad— Aaron Chalmers (@AaronCGShore) February 24, 2016
It wasn't clear if he was targeting his tweet at anyone in particular or simply sharing his thoughts after receiving a slew of negative comments himself lately, but either way, Aaron's fans were quick to show him their support.
Encouraging the Geordie to ignore the not-so-nice comments he has to endure, one said: "It's only your opinion and the opinion of the ones you love that matter ignore any other bad opinion!!! People can be awful!"
Another added: "@AaronCGShore not everyone in life is going to like u but the ones that don't don't matter."
Aaron's tweet comes days after he was branded "desperate" on the social media site. That was after Aaron revealed he had been blown out by his co-star Marnie Simpson on Valentine's Day.
Despite planning a date for himself and Marnie, Aaron found himself on his own on the romantic holiday, as she already had plans with Ibiza Weekender star Jordan Davies.
Aaron had admitted he was "gutted" Marnie had 'pied him' for someone else, especially as the pair had been getting together in the last few weeks when filming for Geordie Shore.
Suggesting he was done with Marnie, Aaron told fans "that ship had sailed."
And it seems like his comments on his co-star led to him being criticised, but Aaron hit back: "Laughing my head off [at] some [one] calling me desperate when they are the [one] that went on a date and took the paps with them."
