In his latest column for Reveal magazine, out now, the Essex star writes: "Whispers are that they've got soft spots for James 'Lockie' Lock and Pete Wicks, and the four of them played golf together.

"I think Danielle Armstrong – Lockie's ex – was a bit upset about it, bless her. They might have also caught Mike Hassini's eye, so these are gonna ruffle some feathers, mark my words."

Danielle and Lockie split last year but have renewed their friendship. Danni said last week they'd enjoyed their time together in Gran Canaria as friends, without any romance or rows. "It's nice we came away and we don't have any of that tension or horrible attitude between us."

Pete, meanwhile, was last linked to TOWIE co-star Jess Wright. They had a very will-they-won't-they relationship since last year, but Jess has now left the show. That being said, he was spotted out and about with TV star Riah Read this week, suggesting he may have a new girlfriend off screen...

Chloe and Courtney are newcomers for the 17th series of The Only Way Is Essex, which kicks off this weekend on ITVBe.

Secretary and part-time barmaid Chloe, 23, is close friends with Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother star Megan McKenna, while Courtney, 20, is a junior PA.

Other newbies this year include Love Island's Jon Clark, 26, and his younger brother Chris, 21.

TOWIE returns to ITVBe for its 17th series on Sunday at 10pm.
