New couple Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash were left a little embarrassed on The Jump last night, after Davina McCall asked the pair if they were in love.

With their relationship being relatively new (Stacey and Joe confirmed their relationship last month), we wouldn't be surprised if Stacey and Joe haven't yet dropped the L-bomb and that's got to make for a very awkward situation when asked about their feelings for each other live on TV.

Yup, Stacey and her new boyfriend were left slightly red-faced when host Davina asked the couple if they were in love live on air...

Stacey had flown out to Austria to support Joe as he competed for the second time on The Jump. Joe had been brought in as a replacement following the exits of a number of celebrities on the show due to injury.

Sitting in the crowd, Davina cornered Stacey and revealed: "Stacey and Joe are K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."

She then asked the former X Factor star: "Are you in love?" Before quickly adding: "Don't say that word, it's too early. It's too early in the relationship."

A shocked Stacey then responded: "Davina!"

Luckily, conversation swiftly moved on, but not before the camera panned to Joe awkwardly smiling as his girlfriend got grilled.

Sadly for him, Stacey wasn't exactly a good luck charm and Joe found himself out of the competition, after jumping the shortest distance in the jump off.

He had to face competition from Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding.

Thanks to injuring his shoulder prior to his debut on The Jump last week, Joe was unable to compete in yesterday's main event. He instead fought for his place on the show in the jump off.

Following his exit, he told host Davina McCall: "I was so scared because it broke my shoulder first time. I've had a great time so I think it's fitting these lot go through, I was playing catch up."

Joe was a late addition to the lineup, along with Ben Cohen and Heather Mills, after five celebrities have been forced to quit this series.

Rebecca Adlington, Tina Hobley, Linford Christie, Mark-Francis Vandelli and Beth Tweddle have all pulled out of The Jump, thanks to enduring fractures and breaks in training.

Beth's injury was considered most severe as the gymnast needed vertebrae fused together in her neck following her fall. She has since shared a recovery update post-surgery, telling fans she is starting to walk again.

Beth said: "I've begun walking by myself. It's still a case of taking one day at a time, but I'm setting myself goals and I'm determined to be up and about as soon as I can."
