This year it will be all change on The X Factor yet again, as THREE stars have already announced they have left the show. Two of those include co-hosts Olly and Caroline and with a spot opening up to present the show, it seems like Emma could step into their shoes...
According to bookmakers William Hill, Emma is the favourite to take over and fans could see her jump ship to ITV, as the BBC bids goodbye to The Voice this year.
A spokesperson has said: "Emma Willis has done a top job on Big Brother and we thing she has a great chance of getting the X Factor role."
This isn't the first time Emma has found herself linked to The X Factor, as rumours were rife Simon Cowell was keen to snap her up in December last year.
It was claimed at the time that Simon was keen to snap up Emma and her fellow Big Brother presenter Rylan Clark.
A source told The Daily Star: "It would cause fireworks poaching Emma and Rylan off Big Brother but Simon usually gets what he wants."
Simon never confirmed such claims and Emma admitted she was surprised to hear she was in the running as she has never even met the music mogul.
She told Alan Carr during an appearance on Chatty Man: "I've definitely not been asked to. I've never even met Simon Cowell before."
It turns out Rylan was just as surprised as Emma to find himself linked to the show he shot to fame on. Rylan was a contestant on The X Factor back in 2012, making the live finals.
He admitted seeing the reports in the paper were the first he had heard of the speculation, admitting on This Morning: "Emma texted me this morning saying, 'Have you seen the paper?' So I stopped at the garage and got my coffee and there it was, I saw it.
"Look, if there is any truth in this, it's the first I've heard of it….but I think Olly and Caroline have done a great job."
However, Emma and Rylan aren't the only famous faces in the running for the coveted hosting role, as there has been speculation former host Dermot O'Leary could make a return.
Stephen Mulhern is also in the running, alongside Marvin and Rochelle Humes.
Specualtion over the talent competition's new host comes as both Olly and Caroline have stepped down.
Olly was first to confirm his exit, revealing he wants to focus more on his music. Caroline then announced she had quit The X Factor too.
She said: "I have had a brilliant time working on The X Factor over the last few years, and hosting the main show was just fantastic, I made some amazing friends. I'm looking forward to carrying on working with the team over at ITV."
Nick Grimshaw has also confirmed he won't be returning as a judge. The Radio 1 DJ has quit The X Factor after just one series, admitting it was a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
