The Irish model turned 26 on Monday, 22 February, but the day was marred by sadness when he released a statement confirming his break up with CBB housemate Stephanie Davis, in the same month they officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.
Jez's rep told Daily Star today: "He cares really deeply for Steph however the pressure of the relationship was just too much, he really wishes it could have worked out and he wishes Steph the very best for the future."
The statement offered no further information on what pressure Jeremy meant, but Stephanie herself had said previously: "It's hard everyone has opinion whether we marry or break up. Who knows what will happen in the future but for now I can't believe I have found someone who loves me."
Steph hasn't yet responded to Jeremy's statement.
There had been speculation over the weekend that Jeremy and Stephanie had split, after he tweeted cryptically: "We are going to talk about things. It's hard everyone has opinion whether we marry or break up. Who knows what will happen in the future but for now I can't believe I have found someone who loves me."
Jeremy, meanwhile, is off to Leeds today to celebrate his birthday with a nightclub personal appearance. He's been retweeting birthday messages from friends including former CBB housemates including Darren Day and Danniella Westbrook.
He also said: "Thank you for all the birthday wishes means a lot xx."
