A rep for Irish model Jeremy told Daily Star: "He cares really deeply for Steph however the pressure of the relationship was just too much, he really wishes it could have worked out and he wishes Steph the very best for the future."
Steph has yet to say anything.
The couple met on the last series of Celebrity Big Brother and viewers watched as their friendship changed to romance, causing controversy as Stephanie was in a relationship with model Sam Reece at the time.
But once the show ended, Steph split from Sam and threw herself into the relationship with Jeremy. It all seemed to be going swimmingly: they declared themselves boyfriend and girlfriend, Jezza bought her a diamond ring, they met each other's families and even posed for a glossy 'loved up' magazine photoshoot together.
So what went wrong?!
According to Jeremy, it was the pressure of the relationship: does that mean the pressure from fans wanting them to be together? Or the pressure of people presuming their TV romance would fail?
Steph, 22 , had admitted feeling this pressure herself, saying earlier this month: "We are going to talk about things. It's hard everyone has opinion whether we marry or break up. Who knows what will happen in the future but for now I can't believe I have found someone who loves me."
Jez had fuelled rumours of a split when he cryptically tweeted at the weekend: "I have been the biggest mug. I'm sorry for the people who tried to warn me. But you live and learn. Onwards and upwards."
The couple had been scheduled to appear on ITV's Loose Women together today, but sources claim Jeremy has now pulled out. It's unknown if Stephanie will continue with the appearance solo.
