In a new interview with Broadly over at Vice, the former The Hills star, 32, admitted that he'd been watching the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother and although he "detested" the GC at first, he grew to love her.
Admire is the word he uses!
So why the turning point?! It was apparently Gemma shouted, "I don't play games!" Spencer was so impressed that he's vowed to borrow the line the next time he's on a reality TV show and someone is winding him up!
Spencer appeared on Celebrity Big Brother himself back in 2013, finishing runner-up with wife Heidi Montag and causing PLENTY of headlines. Rylan Clark-Neal was the winner of that series.
After the series aired, he told us: "I was hoping to cause such a stir in the UK, although I know my wife wasn't!" Heidi added: "I had no idea it was possible to cause even that much of a stir."
Spencer also said after the show it had been tough playing the villain onscreen 24/7: "Seeing CBB I thought that would be fun, go in there and stir it up. It been very difficult for me to be awful, I just had to be the baddie, I had to step up, I (thought) can't come all the way from America and be the good guy when that's not what they cast me for."
