Poor Adele. The technical hitch during her Grammys performance left her feeling pretty emotional...

The singer-songwriter has admitted she cried for the whole day after performing 'All I Ask' at the prestigious music ceremony in Los Angeles where she was affected by a technical error beyond her control.

Speaking on The Elle DeGeneres Show, Adele revealed: "I cried pretty much all day yesterday.

"I don't feel like it could go that much worse than the Grammys though. So I feel like I'm alright now. Anything that happens, dust it off!"

Adele still sounded incredible despite the issue, but she has now said that if she endures a similar problem again, she will most probably just stop performing.

"Next time I have any sound issues I am gonna stop," she continued. "I'll be like, sorry that's not working for me. If we have time to do it again, let's do it. Otherwise, bye!"

Despite her new comments, Adele appeared to brush off the mishap on the same night of the awards as she set the record straight via Twitter.

"The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was," she wrote. "It made it sound out of tune. S**t happens. Because of it though... I'm treating myself to an In n Out. So maybe it was worth it."

Meanwhile, a rep for CBS confirmed there had been a five to eight second technical issue.
