The band, fronted by Chris Martin, confirmed the news via Twitter on Tuesday (16 February) with a photo of their artwork in a field with sheep and the famous Pyramid Stage in sight.
This year's Glastonbury takes place from Thursday 23 June to Sunday 26 June, and Coldplay will be performing at the closing festival on Sunday.
This will also be the fourth time that Coldplay will headline the festival, making them the first act to ever do so.
Coldplay have headlined the annual festival, held at Worthy Farm in Somerset, in 2002, 2005 and 2011. That's pretty impressive, right?
The news comes just a week after Coldplay entertained us all during their halftime Super Bowl performance.
The British band will also be performing at the Brit Awards in London next week on 24 February at London's O2 Arena.
