Does this mean our hopes for Jordan and Marnie as a hot new reality couple may have now been dashed?
Appearing on The Wright Stuff earlier today, Jordan revealed he doesn't want to settle down with a girlfriend who is also in the public eye like he is.
His admission came after host Matthew Wright had quizzed Jordan on whether he is currently single. The Ibiza Weekender favourite mentioned his Valentine's date with Marnie over the weekend, but was quick to add his long term goal is not to date someone who has a career as a reality star.
Jordan revealed: "I was with Marnie from Geordie Shore on Valentine's Day which was really nice. We had a nice date together... I think my long term goal is to date someone who isn't on the reality scene because it's a lot to take in, the work that we do."
Speaking from experience, after dating ex-girlfriend and Ex On The Beach star Megan McKenna, Jordan explained: "It is quite hard. When someone is in the same industry, there's a lot of competition and the press can twist things."
He added: "In the long run, I'll probably get someone who is a dentist or a doctor to settle down with."
Jordan's comments come after he and Geordie Shore's Marnie revealed they had made plans together on Valentine's Day.
Jordan had tweeted on Sunday: "It's time for #IbizaWeekender but unfortunately I can't watch it tonight due to Valentines plans with @MarnieGShore."
He had shared photos of himself and Marnie on their date via Snapchat and reports revealed the duo had enjoyed a romantic dinner date, as pictures surfaced of them kissing.
Marnie and Jordan were first linked last month, after it was revealed they had been secretly texting for weeks. Although, Jordan was thought to have blown his chances with her after stepping out with Vicky Pattison and Ashleigh Defty.
Jordan's date with Marnie comes two month after Megan confirmed she and her ex-beau had split. Speaking about their relationship earlier today, Jordan had said: "We had a really good relationship... I didn't think it was going wrong, but then it started to."
He went on to claim that he thinks Megan is still in love with him. Jordan said: "She's still abusing me, tweeting me and stuff like that, so I think, 'You must still love me. Even though it's hatred towards me, you must still have feelings to show your emotions and get them out like that.'
"She means nothing to me... which makes me think maybe I didn't love her. I don't hate her now, but she hates me, so maybe she does love me."
On hearing Jordan's comments Megan was quick to hit back, she addressed her ex via Snapchat, insisting she was never in love with him.
Megan said: "Apparently I'm still in love with my ex, well I'm sorry, but how can that be when I was never in love with you in the first place?"
