Vicky Pattison has been pitching the idea of "hard-hitting documentaries" to ITV as she bids to expand her TV presenting career.

The former Geordie Shore star has seen her career catapult since she won I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in December, the highlight of which has been a weekly panelist slot on Loose Women.

But ambitious Vicky wants more!

She told The Daily Star Sunday: "We've had some development meetings. I would like to show people I can be serious as well as fun and stupid. I would like to do serious documentaries that tackle hard-hitting issues.

"I love representing strong women and especially strong girls. I would love to tackle issues young girls go through like faddy diets and binge drinking. Those are the types of ideas I pitched to ITV."

Meanwhile, Vicky has reportedly landed her first acting role in BBC Three sitcom Murder in Successville, which hires a celebrity sidekick every episode to help solve a murder.

A source said earlier this month that Vicky would love to become a serious actress, saying: "Now she's got people's attention, Vicky is pulling out all the stops to become a serious acting professional. She ultimately wants a Hollywood career."
